Our papers care for the environment and are made using a blend of different ingredients, such as:
Soft wood pulp, hard wood pulp, abaca and water (H2O).
The softwood pulp is obtained from pine and fir trees and the hardwood pulp is obtained from trees such as eucalyptus.
For Terranova Papers, preserving the environment is basic. It is something that we take very much into account in our production processes and provides the rationale for our certified environmental protection programmes.
First of all, the programme for the endorsement of forest certification (PEFC), which promotes sustainable forest management through forest certification.
And second, the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), a non-governmental organisation whose mission is to promote the sustainable, socially beneficial and economically viable management of the world’s forests.
Over the years, we have obtained another certificate for our abaca fibre extraction process that endorses our work for the protection and sustainable use of native forests, Rainforest Alliance Certified.
